SCALINQ’s hardware featured in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center by Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech

We are absolutely thrilled to see SCALINQ’s hardware featured in the latest milestone project by Qilimanjaro Quantum Tech, pushing the boundaries of analog quantum processing.

This is the first delivery under the EuroQCS-Spain project, co-financed by EuroHPC Joint Undertaking (EuroHPC JU). The project’s purpose is to provide the European research and industrial community with an error-resilient, practical quantum system.

Installed at the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, this new system represents a major leap forward for European technological sovereignty.

It joins BSC’s existing digital quantum infrastructure and the classical computing power to form MareNostrum Ona:
– A live multimodal quantum infrastructure combining analog quantum, digital quantum, and classical supercomputing
– Running as a single unified resource
– Open to researchers and industry across Europe

To support this groundbreaking work, our LINQER80 sample holder and CliQ filters are working hard to provide the ultra-low noise, high-density environment these qubits need to achieve maximum performance. Can you spot them in the photos?

Some of the SCALINQ team recently had the incredible opportunity to visit the site in person. There is nothing like seeing our own hardware integrated into a cutting-edge quantum setup, especially when it’s housed inside the historic Torre Girona chapel! Definitely the most beautiful building our products have ever been sitting in.

Huge congratulations to the brilliant team at Qilimanjaro and the BSC for this launch! We are incredibly proud to be part of your scaling journey.
